Access to Information Requests
The Québec Port Authority (QPA) is an independent, not-for-profit corporation incorporated under the Canada Marine Act. As such, it is subject to the Access to Information Act (ATIA), which gives Canadian citizens, permanent residents, individuals, and corporations in Canada the right to access records under the control of federal institutions.
The QPA is also subject to the Privacy Act, which gives Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and anyone else in Canada the right to request access to and correction of their personal information held by federal institutions.
Submit an online access to information request
The Access to Information and Personal Information Online Request Service is a convenient way to request access to:
- General information
- Personal information
This service:
- Allows individuals to submit online requests for information held by a Government of Canada institution
- Eliminates the need to print, scan, and mail or email a form to an institution
Submit an access to information request by mail or email
- Fill out the Access to Information Request Form or the Personal Information Request Form.
- If you are unable to fill out the form, please send us a signed and dated letter containing the following information:
- Whether your request is under the ATIA or the Privacy Act
- A detailed description of the documents you wish to access (if you are making a request under the ATIA) or the information you wish to access (if you are making a request under the Privacy Act)
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address)
- Enclose a cheque for $5 payable to the Québec Port Authority.
