Inspiring ideas for Beauport Bay’s future wooded park

On September 28, the Québec Port Authority (QPA) invited members of the community to a brainstorming workshop on Beauport Bay’s future wooded park. In total, nearly twenty people participated in this activity, whose objective was to collectively reflect on the best vocations to give to this site. Participants began this exercise with a field visit that allowed them to see the possibilities this land along the river has to offer. This meeting was rich in ideas and sharing of points of view.

By greening four hectares at Beauport Bay’s entrance, the QPA wishes to establish a wooded park to increase attendance and be complementary to the existing offer. This landscaped area, offered to citizens, will promote the discovery of the site’s biodiversity, and give access to the river.
