QUÉBEC CITY TAKES HOME A 3RD STRAIGHT ANNUAL CRUISERS’ CHOICE AWARD FOR BEST CRUISE DESTINATION, U.S. & CANADA
07/17/2019
Québec City, July 17, 2019. Québec City adds a third straight annual Cruisers’ Choice Destination Award to its trophy case as Cruise Critic’s best cruise destination in the United States and Canada.
Results from the 2018 cruise ship season have once again put Québec City in the driver’s seat as Cruise Critic’s best cruise destination in the U.S. & Canada region. That irresistible charm and Gallic grace—internationally recognized with its designation of UNESCO World Heritage Site—have singled it out as a marquee destination on the Canada–New England route.
“It’s a tremendous honour to be named best destination by all those thousands of cruise passengers visiting our beautiful city, and for the third year in a row! I am so proud to think of the way all the actors in this community have joined forces and worked so hard to make us a must-see port of call” said Mario Girard, CEO of the Port of Québec.
“Receiving this award—for the third year in a row—tells us that all our hard work is paying off, and to think it comes barely a week after being selected best destination in Canada by the readers of Travel + Leisure. We already knew that Québec City area was a fabulous destination both for cruise passengers and tourists, but this honour from Cruise Critic makes it unanimous.”said Québec City Tourism communications and marketing director Éric Bilodeau.
